The best thing that you can do is read a book that tackles not only the basics about firewalls but as well as how to maintain them. I think it's better if you buy the helpful book called Firewall for Dummies. It will teach you everything and anything about firewall products. It's very different from a firewall user's manual because the authors took a friendlier approach in discussing what firewalls are about. I think there's no need to explain Dummies further, because for sure, you guys got yourself a lot of self-help books like this in your
home library.
