Despite the continuous warnings and alarms by computer experts for personal and business users to protect their PC through a firewall, there are still those who are hesitant that display varying degree of doubt on the capability of the said system. Is the reason behind this is the lack of budget for the system, or just total ignorance? I don't know with this people but I think not installing a firewall in your system doesn't only mean that your welcoming spyware, adware, malware and viruses to enter your PC network it also serves as a sign that you are so nutty to make your machine a weak prey to
attacks of hackers.
There are many reasons why you should have a firewall
security system configured on your computer, but I don't want to explain that anymore because I already did that to several blog entries. But if all vindications are combined, I'm showing a valid answer why some are not inducting firewalls in their system, and that is because they are completely featherbrained individuals. There's no arguing on that I guess because no person in their right mind would be more than willing to allow computer worms and bugs to disseminate devastation in their PC.
Aside from the protection that reliable firewalls provide, there are a bunch of good things that they can still offer. Okay, I might be so rude earlier with my previous vulgar statements, and I realized that not everyone can get a protective tool as much as they want to have one due to a limited budget. So for those who have the lesser budget but still interested in advocating firewall and computer safety, you can actually download free firewall software or freewares for short.
But not all freewares are created to help, there are those who even aggravate the problem. Since its free, the recourse is yours if you want to use it or not providing that you won't blame the manufacturer in the end. Many freewares are infected by worms and bugs, so be careful and take necessary precautions when downloading. However, there are also version of the
good Samaritan in the computer world that they give free software that are proven safe and effective. When you downloaded something that gives you the impression that it's more than a product sample, that only means you've find treasure at last.
